The "Soulcrane" quartet is synonymous for atmospherically dense chamber jazz. For their latest album "Soulcrane & Strings", the band has invited five guests to the studio stage. A rather unusual string quintet comprising of three cellos and two violas adds a warm and dark character while preserving the intimacy of the sound.  The nine musicians from Cologne present beautiful and masterfully arranged compositions, radiating harmony and inner peace.
